"Each French Silk Pie mix contains a chocolate cream filling mix, and a graham cracker crumb piecrust mix for a 9-inch pie," says Laurie’s Kitchen corporate chef Jere Bahner, who has developed all 34 products in the Laurie’s Kitchen line.
The French Silk Pie Filling Mix is combined with eight ounces of softened cream cheese, one-half cup marshmallow cream and eight ounces of whipped topping The graham crust is made by combining the mix with melted, salted butter and pressing it into a greased pie pan. Once chilled, the pie is ready to eat.
"The French Silk Pie Mix is the latest edition to the Laurie’s Kitchen Dessert Mix line that also includes a Fruit Crisp Mix and Cobbler Mix ," says brand manager, Beth Benteman. "We have been very impressed by sales of the cobbler and crisp mixes this year, so adding the French Silk was a natural line extension. Early this year we launched the cobblers and crisps in a homespun-looking, wrap-around tent to see how they would sell, and sales were so strong, we have moved them into our regular box format as a permanent part of the line.
Each Laurie’s Kitchen French Silk Pie Mix wholesales for $2.50 per unit and is packed twelve units per case. Volume and distributor pricing are available. To view the whole line, or to order, visit www.laurieskitchen.com.
